Three Days in Paris
After only a 3 hour train ride from Amsterdam, we arrived in the romantic city of Paris! Luckily for us, a couple of our good Parisian friends gave us the local experience — charcuterie and all. Paris is filled with art, fashion, diverse cuisine, and many 19th century landmarks. It will be hard for you not to fall in love. Get lost in the crisscrossed streets or walk along the Seine river and find what speaks to you! If you enjoy taking is slower, the cafe culture will not disappoint. Check out our recommendations below for some of our highlights and suggestions.
What to do:
Pick up some goodies at a market and have a picnic at the park!
Walk the Coulée Verte (similar concept to The High Line in NY).
Gaze at the Eiffel Tower.
Visit the Panthéon.
Explore the Louvré Museum and surrounding grounds.
Steps of the Sacre-Coeur Basilica.
Check out the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Jardin du Palais Royal - secret garden in the middle of the city
Jardin des tuileries - park in front of the Louvre.
Where to eat & Drink:
Le Baron Rouge - drink and eat cheaply amongst the lively local crowd.
La Cantine du Siam - amazing thai food and the owner/staff are lovely.
Sanjo - WOW is all we have to say. Amazing Japanese cuisine and the aesthetic is on point.
L’ami Pierre - authentic French cuisine with live music (very Paris).
Amendula Cafe - Coffee and vegan bites!
Where to stay:
We were able to stay at our friends apartment but have heard these are some great options:
If you want views of the Eiffel Tower check out the 7th arrondissement.
